    Serie B: McDonald Mariga gets five-match ban for handshake with ref!

    Former Parma and Inter centre midfielder McDonald Mariga has been banned for five Serie B games for shaking the referee’s hand too hard after that the 29-year-old Latina player was shown the red card during a Serie B game last Saturday.

    Mariga erupted in anger and was given his marching orders after the referee had not allowed his side a clear penalty kick in the final minutes of crucial Serie B game against Virtus Entella. Mariga ironically shook referee’s hands too hard before leaving the pitch, making mr. Ivan Pezzuto’s hand bleed.
