Four top-class stars set to miss Juventus-Empoli |Latest news & predicted line-ups
The Old Lady’s leading scorer Paulo Dybala has been ruled out with a muscle injury he picked up two weeks ago during the Turin derby. Even if Claudio Marchisio, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli have recovered from their recent physical hassles, they are still in doubt for tomorrow’s game.
According to CM.com’s Nicola Balice, Marchisio and Chiellini should start against the Tuscans with Barzagli on the bench. Massimiliano Allegri has revealed there is a 99% of chances for Daniele Rugani to star against his former club.
Things are not looking rosy in terms of suspended players too. Leonardo Bonucci, Alex Sandro and Sami Khedira will all miss tomorrow’s showdown. The Germany International is serving a two-match ban and will miss the Old Lady’s following fixture against AC Milan too.
With only three central defenders and two wingers available, Massimiliano Allegri should swap Juve to a 4-3-1-2 system with Roberto Pereyra playing as offensive midfielder behind Alvaro Morata and Mario Mandzukic.
JUVENTUS PREDICTED LINE-UP AGAINST EMPOLI:
Juventus (4-3-1-2): Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Rugani, Chiellini, Evra; Pogba, Marchisio, Asamoah; Pereyra; Morata, Mandzukic.
