Doubts are rising over San Siro’s availability to host the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico. UEFA has expressed its concern for the condition of the pitch through match operation manager Keith Dalton.

“We are trying to solve some logistic problems and prepare a pitch that has to be worthy of a Champions League final. With respect talking, the head gardener is very young but is also the only person to have technical competences. All the others can only hold the pitchfork.”
