Sampdoria, names for the bench to replace Montella

Vincenzo Montella's future at Sampdoria remains uncertain. The 41-year-old has been linked with the job as Italian national team coach and also to succeed Cristian Brocchi at Milan.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the port club have two names on their wanted list as replacements; current Chievo boss Rolando Maran and Empoli tactician Marco Giampaolo. The pink journal also states that former Palermo coach Beppe Iachini and ex Lazio boss Stefano Pioli are also being considered.
