The bianconeri have already approached the agents of the former AS Roma man, who could replace Martin Caceres and become –together with Daniele Rugani- the main alternative to the magic trio Chiellini-Barzagli-Bonucci. Also the giallorossi were thinking about bringing the player back to the Olimpico, but they have made no moves. However, the Serie A defending champions are not intentioned to make an investment for Benatia, and –also considering his recent injuries- they will try to obtain him on loan with right to buy. Die Roten have no intention to do a favor to a competitor in the Champions League, but they will have to deal with the player’s will.
