Roma on Ziyech after Diawara
Roma has a hand on Amadou Diawara. An agreement has been reached with Bologna for an eventual sale of €15 million; the first part will be a season-long loan for €3 million then a further €12 million to seal the deal next summer. President James Pallotta has asked for 48 hours to be able to collect payments from two potential sales, that of Ponce to Sporting Gijon and Paredes to Empoli; the Tuscan club also thinks about Criestig of Bologna.
The rossoblu for their part, are looking for midfield reinforcements too. Names in the notebook include Gnoukouri (Inter) and one between Walace (Gremio), on which there is also interest from Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen, and Viviani (Verona). In attack, Donodoni’s side have an eye on Sadiq of Roma as defender Rossettini heads to Genoa.
Back in the capital, Roma’s interest in Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans could be encouraged by the player stating that; “the market is long, if a decent offer arrives I will think about it”. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, €18 million will be the price-tag of the 19-year-old. Sporting Director Sabatini will also return to the track that leads to Morrocan attacking midfielder Haken Ziyech after his current side Twente rejected the giallorossi’s early advances. Meanwhile, it now looks certain that Polish international goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will return from Arsenal for another season in the Eternal City.
