Roma boss Spalletti: 'Totti made the history of this club'
During an interview accorded to Roma TV, AS Roma head coach Luciano Spalletti has talked about his relations with the team’s captain Francesco Totti: “He’s Roma’s history, the strongest player after WWII. I learned a lot from him, I taught some of his plays to my players. He has given a lot to this club and to football in general, I hope that he will end his career as well as possible. Because of my position I have some difficulties, I have great respect for both the man and the player”.
Regarding the club’s president James Pallotta, the Tuscan tactician said: “He cares a lot for the club, he brings a lot of enthusiasm. We would need him to be closer, it would be more important that it seems”.
