REVEALED! Why Paul Pogba prefers staying at Juve than moving to Chelsea or PSG
Juventus’ would only allow the player’s departure for an offer exceeding € 100 million. Maybe somewhere in the region of € 120 million could tempt the Old Lady, who, however, wants to build her future around the Frenchman.
What about Paul? As CM.com transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano reports, the player’s agent Mino Raiola has recently revealed that there is no chance of seeing Pogba moving to Chelsea in the summer, at this stage at least. With Antonio Conte set to take over in South-West London at the beginning of the next campaign, one would think that Stamford Bridge is the right place for Pogba to move in. However, Juve’s n.10 would prefer to be joining a club with more history and tradition than Chelsea or PSG. Clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona which can guarantee him both prestige and a rich salary.
Pogba is in no rush to leave the J Stadium. When Chelsea offered € 90 million to secure his services last August, Raiola requested an annual salary in the region of € 11 million plus commissions: Juventus turned down Roman Abramovich’s offer, the Blues did not insist with Pogba’s agent.
There are not too many clubs in the world which can offer more than that and Pogba’s high salary request play in Juventus’ favour. As we’ve previously mentioned, he’s happy in Turin and doesn’t mind to see his future at Juve. He’s on very good terms with Massimiliano Allegri and trying to win the Champions League with the bianconeri is a stimulating challenge for one of the best players in the world.
However, if any club would put on the table more than € 100 million for the club and more than € 10 million a year for the player, both parties would almost surely negotiate a move. Considering that Juve bought Pogba from Manchester United as a free agent in 2012 (pictured above), the player’s sale would probably be the richest capital gain in the history of football.
