REVEALED: Which Milan players will leave in summer?

With so much uncertainty surrounding AC Milan, one thing is practically guaranteed this summer: the squad will undergo a massive makeover. Whether the Chinese buy in, whether some money flows into the club's coffers... it doesn't matter.

Some players are too expensive, many others aren't considered to be up to the challenge, with yesterday's 2-1 defeat to Verona underlining how the Rossoneri's problems aren't just tactical or administrative (though Lord knows they're bad enough) but also technical.

So who is on the way out? Diego Lopez has been supplanted and bettered by Gigi Donnarumma, and has a salary of
5 million a year. Gone will likely be Philippe Mexes (either the MLS, Marseille or Fiorentina, who expressed an interest in January) and Alex, who is ready to return to Brazil.

Kevin-Prince Boateng's been a flop, despite his girlfriend's protestations, Jeremy Menez is also salted to leave, and Luiz Adriano showed in January that he has clubs after him... though it'd be nice if he made his mind up this time.

A number of other players are considered to be in doubt: Cristian Zapata was criticised by owner Silvio Berlusconi at a corporate event earlier this year, whilst Juventus are interested in Mattia De Sciglio.

Andrea Poli wants to play more, Mario Balotelli can only stay if Liverpool decide to rescind his contract, whilst Carlos Bacca and M'Baye Niang are not considered absolute necessities, especially not if the right deal comes in for their services.
