REVEALED: The details behind Vrsaljko's move to Atleti
One of Sassuolo's key men, Giovanni Carnevali, is set to travel to Madrid either this evening or tomorrow morning to conclude talks.
The Croatian star (who Sassuolo bought for around €3.6 million two seasons ago) will now be sold on for 13 million, and will sign a five-year deal with the Colchoneros.
It's the end of the road for Inter and Napoli, who had made quite an effort to sign the full-back.
The Partenopei's bid effectively came to an end, however, when Vrsaljko revealed from Croatia's Euro 2016 camp that he'd “never had the intention of wearing that shirt”.
