Juve's Morata will only return to Real if guaranteed first team role
Real Madrid appear intent on exercising their 35 million euros buy-back clause for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata. The Turin club are still waiting though to meet with the Spanish giants and are eager to clarify the situation so they can bring in an appropriate replacement should Morata head back to Madrid.
According to Marca however, sources close to the player have revealed that he will only pack his bags and bring his two-year stay in Turin to an end if he is guaranteed first team football at Real Madrid. The striker and his agent want an answer over the matter and what’s more want to know in the next 7 days.
Another possibility is that Real bring back the striker to then sell him on to other interested suitors seeing as a host of European clubs are after his services. English outfits Chelsea, Tottenham, Leicester and Liverpool have been touted possible destinations for the Spain striker who is said to favour a move to the BPL.
However, don’t rule out an assault from Borussia Dortmund who now have cash to splash after the sale of Hummels to Bayern Munich…
