One year ago, Inter and AC Milan were in competition for the 28-year-old winger Alessio Cerci, who was not getting many chances to play at Atletico Madrid; the former Torino man was required by the nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini, but finally he joined the rossoneri, so that Inter had to swoop on Lukas Podolski: the latter has left San Siro last summer and the nerazzurri are still seeking a player to reinforce their team’s flank.
