REPORT: four defenders on Roma's wishlist
As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s General Manager Mauro Baldissoni flew to Boston yesterday to meet the club’s main shareholder, James Pallotta. The two have talked about plans for the new stadium, but also about the next transfer campaign.
The Giallorossi are currently eyeing two Inter Milan center backs, the 24-year-old Juan Jesus, who could have joined Roma last summer, and the former Nerazzurri captain Andrea Ranocchia, who has been offered to the Roman club by his agent. Two more option for Rudi Garcia’s team are Udinese 27-year-old Thomas Hertaux and Bayern Munich 28-year-old Mehdi Benatia, who still misses his former club.
Benatia has, however, been in Juventus' sights for quite some time now, the Bavarians even offering a swap for Kingsley Coman.
