Real, Morata unhappy: Juve dreaming of a possible return

Having returned home in the summer to the place where he developed as a player, Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is struggling to find space in Zinedine Zidane’s starting XI. The 23-year-old Spaniard headed back to the capital in the summer for €30 million after two successful seasons with Juventus but in what could be become a bizarre twist of fate, he may be heading back to Turin sooner than expected.

Tuttosport claims that the bianconeri are ready to take advantage of his unhappiness at spending too much time on the substitute’s bench at the Bernabeu and line-up a shock return for the player who still has a great relationship with club and with CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Fabio Paratici. It will be tough however to convince Los Blancos to part with their man for a second time despite Morata refusing to rule out a possible return to Turin. Should a departure become imminent, the bianconeri will no doubt face competition from the Premier League with Arsenal making no secret of their admiration for the player.
