Real Madrid: Is Ramsey bound for the Bernabeu?
Reports in The Sun claim that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is a concrete target for Spanish giants Real Madrid. Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is believed to want the 25-year-old Welshman to join fellow countryman Gareth Bale in the Spanish capital.
Currently serving a transfer embargo for the next two windows, Real are set to appeal very shortly and are confident of having the decision overturned. If so, then President Florentino Perez will launch a full-scale assault in both January and next summer as he looks to shake up the team.
Ramsey’s current market-value is thought to be somewhere in the region of around £25 million and the player who was in the Euro 2016 team of the tournament, is thought to be keen to link-up with his international teammate Bale. Real are also confident they can prize Ramsey away from North London by nearly doubling his current £90,000 a week salary with the Gunners.
