Roma: update on Rabiot. Juve: Pogba about to renew
AS Roma 23-year-old midfielder Alessandro Florenzi is one of the most surprising young talents of the Serie A: during the last transfer window, the Italy international, who can also play as a full back or a winger, seemed intended to join Fiorentina or Arsenal, but he has finally remained at his hometown team: now, after his astonishing performances, the giallorossi will have to renew the player’s contract; as outlined by calciomercato.com, in fact, the young Roman has just two years left on his contract with his current club and is one of the less paid players; according to the Corriere dello Sport, the Capital’s club Sports Director Walter Sabatini has an agreement with Florenzi himself to extend his latter’s contract until June 2018 with a 1,2 million euros per year salary. In any case, Roma keep on tracking another young midfielder, 19-year-old Adrien Rabiot, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire at the end of the current season and actually out of Laurent Blanc’s team: according to the Sunday People, the giallorossi have overtaken their rivals in the hunt for the Frenchman, and their only risk is the possibility for the player to renew his contract with the Ligue 1 defending champions. Rabiot is also considered a target for Juventus, who, in the mid time, are about to extend the contract of one of their most important players, 21-year-old Paul Pogba: the signing of a new five-year-deal should be announced in the next days.
