Manchester United, however, have an option to extend the former Sweden striker’s stay at the Old Trafford until 2018, but the Red Devils have yet to meet the player’s agent Mino Raiola to discuss about the future of the 35-year-old striker at the club.
According to various reports from England, PSG are considering signing Romelu Lukaku as a possible replacement for the departing Uruguayan striker next summer. Cavani’s PSG contract talks have been put on hold and in case the former Napoli star decides to leave Paris at the end of the season, the Everton star would top the Ligue1 giants shopping list.
Lukaku was heavily linked with a return to Chelsea last summer, but the Blues failed to find economic agreement with Everton as the Toffees demanded over € 70 million to allow the departure of the Belgian star.
