Despite the declarations released by their president Erick Thohir, during the next transfer window Inter Milan will try to sign a winger or a tactically ductile forward; one of their main targets for such position remains Paris Saint-Germain 30-year-old Ezequiel Lavezzi, who will become a free agent at the end of the season and who is not getting many chances to play in Laurent Blanc’s team.
In Doha, the nerazzurri’s executives have met their Ligue 1 counterparts, who have asked at least €7 million to let the Argentine leave in January: an extremely high amount, considering the fact that the player will be free to negotiate with other clubs starting February 1st, and that there don’t seem many chances for him to renew.
Moreover, the former Napoli man requires a €4-million-per-season salary and a three-year deal: for this reason, the Lombard club keeps on tracking El Pocho, but a transfer at the end of the season seems at the moment a more concrete option.
