President of Sporting CP hopes Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the club one day
Real Marid met the Portuguese side yesterday night with the game that ended with a 1-1 draw.
Talking to media after the final whistle, Bruno de Carvalho claimed: “Of course Ronaldo is very happy at Real Madrid but I hope he can return where he started his career one day.”
Ronaldo left the Portuguese side in 2009 in a € 94.5 million deal to join Manchester United. He had spent six years at the club scoring three goals in 25 appearances. Cristiano, 31, has just signed a new contract with Real Madrid with his new deal at the Santiago Bernabeu which is set to expire in June 2021. Ronaldo is the best scorer in the history of the LaLiga giants having netted 374 goals in 362 games.
