French sports daily L’Equipe reports that Manchester United has made initial contact with Juventus over midfielder Paul Pogba. Club vice-president Ed Woodward is negotiating with the bianconeri to try to bring the 23-year-old back to the club where he was nurtured as a youngster. Pogba has a current deal in Turin until 2019 earning €4.5 million net per season. To bring him back to Old Trafford four years after they released him on a free-transfer, the Red Devils will have to find €100 million to fend off competition from Real Madrid. An official offer is expected next week.
