Pjaca: 'I want to be Juventus' next Morata'

Marko Pjaca sounds like he can’t wait to get more playing time and justify his €23 million pricetag, and will hope he gets a crack in this weekend's Derby d'Italia against Inter.

“I’d like to become the new Morata,” the Croatian youngster told assembled media in today’s press conference, “I’ll do my best to show the club, my team-mates, the coach and the fans that I can play well and live up to expectations.

“I hope I can help this team win the Scudetto and go as far as possible in the Champions League”.

The 21-year-old sensation also spoke about his role on this Juventus side.

“I was a left winger at Dinamo, but I was a centre midfielder when I was younger. They’re the two positions I prefer, I think I give my best in those roles. I’ve already played as a second striker here at Juventus, and I think I can contribute and do well here with the Bianconeri shirt”.
