Inter: idea Obiang. Juve: two names for the defense
As reported earlier, Inter Milan are seeking a midfielder, and could have a concrete chance for 19-year-old Adrien Rabiot, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain is about to expire; but the nerazzurri are also evaluating other options, and could be again in competition with Juventus, as, according to Sportmediaset, are interested in Sampdoria 22-year-old Pedro Obiang; the Spaniard has three more years on his contract with the blucerchiati. Meanwhile, during an interviewed accorded to Mediaset Premium before the game against Atalanta, the Lombard club’s president Erick Thohir has released some interesting declaration regarding the transfer market: the Indonesian tycoon has in fact assured that after his Sports Director Piero Ausilio and the first team’s coach Walter Mazzarri, also 20-year-old attacking midfielder Mateo Kovacic and 21-year-old forward Mauro Icardi will extend their contracts, and that the negotiation with the two players have already started. Serie A defending champions Juventus are also seeking a defender, and, as reported by Sportmediaset, during the next transfer window could swoop again on Benfica 33-year-old Luisao; moreover, as reported by the same media, the bianconeri –considering the situation of 30-year-old Stephan Lichtsteiner- could swoop on AC Milan 27-year-old right back Ignazio Abate at the end of the season.
