Pepe to snub Manchester United, Chelsea & Juve for Real Madrid extension
According to reports in The Mirror, Real Madrid defender Pepe is set to snub offers from Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus to remain in the Spanish capital.
The 33-year-old Portuguese international is out of contract at the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the current campaign but the journal understands that he will put pen to paper on a new two-year deal to effectively end his career with the Spanish giants.
Earlier reports had suggested that Los Blancos were reluctant to offer the player a two-year extension, preferring to give him a one-year rolling contract. This issue now seems to have been resolved however, with Pepe now unlikely to be leaving for pastures new.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho, who has already worked with Pepe at the Bernabeu, looked to be in pole-position to try to prize him away from Spain but the player that joined the club in 2007 from Porto, looks set to finish his top-flight career in Madrid
