Pastore: three good reasons to go to Inter
Age, name and passport are different, but not the role on the pitch: Javier Pastore could be Wesley Sneijder's replacement at Inter. The negotiation is not yet official, but el Flaco is one of Moratti's dreams. He said after the Coppa Italia match: "I like Pastore, he can play in a big club". The Argentine quarterback will leave Palermo this summer and Inter could be his next destination, at least for three reasons:
1- The competition: it was very high some weeks ago, it has now disappeared. City (Aguero), Real Madrid (Neymar), Barcelona (Sanchez), Manchester United (Sneijder), Roma (Lamela): they are all OK now. There are only Anzhi and Malaga, which are not considered top teams, Chelsea, but Villas Boas is more interested in Falcao and Modric, and Milan. But another meeting between Galliani and Ganso's agent last night, makes people believe that Milan have already chosen the Brazilian of Santos.
2- Zamparini's and Pastore's declarations: Palermo's president talked about two Italian clubs and the Flaco said clearly that he wants to stay in Italy to play with a great club. Inter is within this category and Pastore will find there lots of conationals ready to facilitate his integration in the squad.
3- Moratti's coup: A great player will arrive at Inter and will replace Sneijder. Alvarez is a good acquisition, but he needs to grow and get accustomed to Italian football. The former Velez could also play together with Pastore: Gasperini will find the way to do it.
