Pasalic set for Milan January exit: Lille want him

Luxembourg businessman Gerard Lopez is on the verge of buying a majority share in Ligue1 side Lille. The French club have already appointed their new director of sport: Luis Campos who has released an interview with Mercato365 talking about his plans for the future of the club.

Ricardo Quaresma and Memphis Depay top the French side’s shopping list, though Campos is believed to have shortlisted 50 potential new signings for the January window.

Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic is said to be one of those names included in the list. The Croatian midfielder has yet to play one single minute with AC Milan this term and although he’d been recovering from a back injury, he’s not believed to be among Montella’s favourite players and an early departure from the San Siro in the incoming transfer window is more than likely at this stage.

Pasalic joined AC Milan in a dry loan spell from Chelsea last summer. The 21-year-old midfielder is a product of Hajduk Split’s academy.
