Paper Talk: Nainggolan furious at Spalletti, Juventus starlet set to sign first pro contract

Juventus are running away in the Serie A table enjoying a seven point lead on second placed AC Milan and AS Roma. The giallorossi lost ground yesterday as they faced a shock 2-1 defeat at Atalanta and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan couldn’t hide his frustration after that Spalletti replaced him in the second half.

The Italian paper claims that the Belgium International hit out at Spalletti’s assistant coach Domenichini saying that the manager had not made clear his tasks in the pitch. The Italian tactician has recently moved Nainggolan from centre midfield to a more attacking position behind Edin Dzeko, but Nainggolan was frustrated by lack of clarity yesterday as he could not understand what Spalletti wanted him to do.

A few days before yesterday’s defeat Nainggolan had claimed that AS Roma could have catch Juventus on top of the Serie A table and that he was happy with his new position in the pitch.

The Chelsea target has recently signed a contract extension until 2020, but is still waiting to get a pay rise that the club has promised him.

Meantime, the Old Lady are focusing on their incoming Champions League clash against Sevilla. The Serie A giants remain optimist about a positive end of negotiations with Mino Raiola over Moise Kean’s contract extension.

According to La Stampa, the bianconeri are not going to offer Kean a three-year, € 1 million a year deal, but Marotta is willing to offer the 16-year-old striker a two-year, € 250.000-a-year deal.

The Italian paper claims that the two parties are close to finding agreement. Kean is the most promising product of Juventus’ academy. He is the first millennial to have made Serie A debut and if he fails to agree terms of new contract with Juventus, City and Arsenal would battle it out to bring him to the Premier League.
