PAPER TALK: Juve make new offer for Andre Gomes, Napoli offer Higuain € 7-million-per-year contract. Ancelotti rivals Mou for Ibra
Juventus’ € 30 million bid was rejected by Valencia last month. The Old Lady could now offer € 40 million (bonus included), though Valencia’s request is still € 60 million.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also monitoring the situation of the 22-year-old midfielder.
The Blues are also interested in Napoli stars Khalidou Koulibaly and Gonzalo Higuain. The relationship between the Senegalese defender and the club has deteriorated, whilst Aurelio De Laurentiis is optimistic about the Argentinean striker’s stay.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli will offer Higuain a new deal expiring in 2020 and an annual salary in the region of € 7 million.
Slovakia star Marek Hamsik could be offered a contract extension as well. His agent has put the captain’s future in doubt and has asked a new contract even if Hamsik extended his deal with the club only one year ago.
