Paper Talk: A Manchester derby for Bonucci, Lemina wanted by Leicester, Napoli still negotiate for Herrera
Reports from La Stampa this morning suggest that there will be a Manchester derby this summer to try to land Juventus and Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci. The journal claims that the 29-year-old is highly rated by both Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho and a battle-royal will commence to try to get his signature. The new Manchester City boss wants to add some quality to the back-line at the Etihad next season whilst Mourinho wants to reinforce his Manchester United defence with a marquee signing.
It was believed that if the player would arrive in the Premier League, then it would be to join his old boss Antonio Conte at Chelsea. Juventus however, are reluctant to part with an integral part of their squad who has been with the club since he was a boy.
