PAPER TALK: Chelsea target set to stay at Inter; Fabregas & his January date with Milan
Chelsea summer target Marcelo Brozovic is close to a contract renewal at Inter. Corriere dello Sport reveals this morning that the 23-year-old Croatian midfielder will be one of host of current first-team stars to secure their future with the nerazzurri.
Brozovic had seemed certain to leave the San Siro this summer and his likely destination seemed to be Stamford Bridge, but when new coach Frank de Boer arrived at the club shortly before the start of the new campaign, Brozovic was earmarked as one of the players he was desperate to keep on his staff. He will be joined this week by former Arsenal target Mauro Icardi, who will also commit his future to the club.
