Paper Talk - Morata; should I stay or should I go? Higuain in secret talks with PSG, Lazio in for Leicester target Lapadula
One of the main protagonists on the transfer market, Juventus striker Alvaro Morata could yet remain in Turin next season. Tuttosport claims this morning that bianconeri CEO Beppe Marotta is still hopeful he can keep the Spanish international at the club despite Real Madrid already stating that they have decide to activate the €30 buy-back clause inserted into the players contract when he made the switch to Italy in 2014.
Los Blancos intend to then sell the player on for around €50 million with Arsenal favourites to land his signature, but after the 23-year-old grabbed the winner in Saturday’s Coppa Italia Final against Milan, Marotta claimed he was “part of the Juve family” and that the club would “stop at nothing to keep him in Italy”.
