Just like last summer, Inter have made Spurs midfielder Erik Lamela a priority transfer target and according to Corriere dello Sport but this time they intend to get their man. The 24-year-old still has two-years left on his current deal at White Hart Lane, is available for the right price and now the Italian giants are ready to launch a £20 million bid to bring him back to Serie A next season.

The problem for the nerazzurri however, is that they don’t have that kind of money to hand after being hit by the Uefa financial fair-play sanctions, so an alternative strategy has been put in place with a player plus cash deal being proposed. The journal states that the most likely players to be sacrificed would be defender Jeison Murillo midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and former Manchester City play-maker Stevan Jovetic
