Paper Talk: Nainggolan-Chelsea, the latest; Alexis Sanchez wanted by Juve; Dzeko set for Sunderland switch
The future of Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan remains uncertain after the giallorossi rejected another advance by Chelsea. Corriere dello Sport claims that the €37 million offer was turned down by the Italian side who are now hopeful the Belgian international will sign a new deal in the Eternal City. The journal also states that French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also casting a curious eye over the 28-year-old as the summer transfer window starts to hot up.
After his country’s Euro 2016 win over Hungary, Nainggolan stated that; “I believe I will stay in Rome, I’m happy where I am so why should I change teams when I am settled in Italy”. There remarks don’t seem to have deterred Chelsea however, with incoming boss Antonio Conte determined to pursue the Belgian throughout the summer.
