Napoli are continuing to pursue Inter striker Mauro Icardi. The vesuviani have money to spend after the sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus and despite the imminent arrival of Polish striker Arek Milik (who underwent a medical yesterday afternoon), President Aurelio De Laurentiis sees the 23-year-old Inter striker as his primary summer target. Corriere dello Sport states that the new offer on the table is €55 million with the player receiving a five-year contract worth €20 million per season.
 

Juventus will look to invest the €110 million they will receive from the sale of Paul Pogba to Manchester United in PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi and Belgian international Axel Witsel (Corriere dello Sport). New coach Unai Emery has hinted that the French champions may look to off-load the 29-year-old whilst Witsel has already told his current club Zenit St Petersburg that he prefers a switch to Turin over one to Everton.

 

Napoli captain Marek Hamsik has renewed his contract with the club until 2021. The Slovakian international will now see out the rest of his career with the vesuviani (Corriere dello Sport).
 

Spurs defender Federico Fazio is a target for Roma (Corriere dello Sport). The 29-year-old could arrive in the Italian capital on-loan this summer.

Roma are making a move for 23-year-old Moroccan born midfielder Hakim Ziyech of FC Twente (Gazzetta dello Sport). 














Across the city, Lazio are heading to Brazil to try to capture central defender Rodrigo Caio. Corriere dello Sport claims that the 22-year-old Sao Paolo player will be available after the Olypic Games in Rio.
 

Sampdoria have resurrected their interest in Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet. The port club see the 22-year-old Belgian as replacement for Roberto Soriano, who seems destined to leave the club this summer. (Secolo XIX)


 

Juventus may not sell French midfielder Mario Lemina after all. Having already received bids of around €17 million from several clubs including West Brom and Hamburg, Sportitalia claims the bianconeri may now look to keep hold of their 22-year-old.
