Chelsea have been put on red-alert after reports from Italy stated that Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will be sold if the right offer arrives in January.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that despite signing a contract extension with the nerazzurri only yesterday, the 24-year-old Croatian international will be sacrificed in the new year to so the club can fall into line with the financial fair-play restrictions imposed upon them. Reports suggest that an offer of around €25 million would be enough to get the green-light from his current employer and with Chelsea having been strongly linked in the past, it’s believed the Premier League leaders would be in pole-position to complete the deal.
