OFFICIAL: Nolito signs with Manchester City!
Celta Vigo striker Nolito will follow Pep Guardiola to the Etihad, and will wear the Number 9 shirt.
The total transfer fee is reported to be around 16.5 million, a decent price for a player who has been a guiding light for Celta Vigo, scoring 39 Liga goals for the Galicians in 100 appearances.
Nolito has some encouraging words:
"I’ll try to contribute as much as I can... I’ll do everything that Guardiola asks of me," he told Manchester City's official website, "I'll try my absolute best and do everything I can to try to repeat the form I’ve shown throughout my career at various clubs.
The Spain striker will get to work with Coach Guardiola again, having worked under him in Barcelona's cantera.
"I think that Pep Guardiola is one of the best managers in the world".
