Official: Juventus release Dybala medical update, striker set to skip Napoli clash
Here’s the statement published a few minutes ago on Juventus’ official website:
“Medical examinations on Paulo Dybala have revealed that the Argentine sustained a severe knock to the posterior region of his right thigh in an incident with caused him to be withdrawn through injury during last night's match against Milan at the San Siro.
Specifically, today's scan confirmed minor damage to the muscle, between first and second degree tearing, with the player set to further assessed in the coming days to better define the gravity of the injury.”
New medical tests will determine Dybala’s recovery time. If a first degree strain is confirmed, Dybala is going to remain out of action between 10 days and two weeks. If the Argentinean has picked up a second degree strain, he could be sidelined for almost one month.
In both cases, he’s set to skip the incoming Napoli clash scheduled for next Saturday.
