Antonio Cassano refused to cancel his Sampdoria contract. The blucerchiati failed to sign a new centre-back, with Bianchetti and Gonzalez who were on their radars, while Palermo did not sign the striker they desperate need failing to seal Ciofani, Galabinov and Raicevic.
