Not only Fosun: The three China groups interested in buying Milan

As previously reported, Silvio Berlusconi’s hopes of selling AC Milan are on the brink of failure as the most plausible suitor that showed up so far - Mr Bee Taechaubol - has failed to find any economic partner to buy the 48% stake of the Italian club.

According to Milano Finanza, by the way, there are three more groups (all from China) interested in buying Milan, even if they have allegedly imposed different conditions from the Thai broker.

Two of those are believed to be real estate companies that would only buy the majority stake of Milan and would prefer to invest money also on a club-owned stadium (something on which Milan are working out since very long time).

The third company interested in acquiring Silvio Berlusconi’s club is Fosun Group. This name might not sound new for those who usually read this website. As we previously reported, Fosun Group acquired a minority stake of Jorge Mendes’ GestiFute last November and their business involves many areas such as real estate, insurances, pharmaceutics, health & wellness and entertainment.
