    No contact with Inter over Saponara, claims Empoli president

    Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi talked to calcionews24.com about the future of azzurri star Riccardo Saponara who has been linked with moves to Juventus, AC Milan and Inter despite his performances at the end of last season were not as good as in the first part of the 2015-16 Serie A campaign.

    The product of AC Milan academy has received no offers from Inter so far, according to Empoli’s president.
    “We had no contacts with Inter over Riccardo Saponara.”

    Inter DS Piero Ausilio met the player’s agent yesterday but the duo are believed to have talked about Andrea Ranocchia who is going to leave Inter this summer.
