AC Milan: auction for Niang. Inter: back for Zuniga
AC Milan keep on working to reinforce their team for the next season, as perhaps confirmed yesterday by their executive Barbara Berlusconi: this latter has on the other hand declared that 23-year-old striker Mario Balotelli is not irreplaceable; but the Italy international is not the only forward intended to leave “San Siro”: 18-year-old Andrea Petagna -as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- is tracked by Cesena, while –according to mercato365.com- Olympiacos have joined Stoke City and West Bromwich in the hunt for 19-year-old Mbaye Niang –last season on loan at Montpellier- to yield whom the rossoneri require about 5 million euros. For what regards the possible new signings, the Lombard club –as reported by Sky Sport- is thinking about 33-year-old Samuel Eto’o, whose contract with Chelsea is about to expire, and who has been contacted some weeks ago by the former Milan coach Clarence Seedorf, before this latter’s firing. The rossoneri are also working to reinforce their defense, and, according to gianlucadimarzio.com, are thinking about Sampdoria 22-year-old center back Shkodran Mustafi –also tracked by Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen- and Bayern Munich 24-year-old left back Diego Contento; this latter is also a target for city rivals Inter Milan: the nerazzurri have also made a new attempt for Napoli 28-year-old Juan Camilo Zuniga, but their offer has been refused.
