New Inter boss: Hiddink declines offer, Pioli and Marcelino the only candidates left

Guss Hiddink has declined Inter’s offer to become their new boss, Italian press agency ansa has revealed.
The Dutch boss had emerged as a possible replacement for Frank De Boer who was fired as Inter boss earlier this week, 84 days after his appointment as the nerazzurri head coach.

With Andre Villas Boas who has joined Shanghai SIPG and Leonardo who called himself out of the race a few days ago, Stefano Pioli and Marcelino are the only two candidates left for the job.

Suning owner’s son Steven Zhang arrived this morning in Milan to name Inter’s new boss and our Inter reporter Pasquale Guarro has found out the exact spot where him, Jun Ren and Piero Ausilio are having a meeting to make a final decision over the Serie A giant’s future boss.

The final meeting is being held in a law firm in Milan’s city centre, the same where Suning finalized the club’s takeover last summer.

According to Pasquale Guarro, who has been following Steven Zhang and his right hand man Jun Ren since this morning, either Pioli or Marcelino could have entered the law firm before Inter chiefs did and the final meeting could be taking place in this moment.

Stay tuned to have more updates from Milan, the identity of new Inter’s boss could be unveiled soon.
