After 326 Juventus caps throughout his playing career, Pavel Nedved has been appointed as the Bianconeri’s vice-president no later than four days ago.

Despite the recent nominee, the former Czech Republic International has shown reluctance over a future permanence at the club.

“I am not totally convinced to stay at the club. Football can be very stressful and tiring and my wife thinks it’s better not to carry on with this life”, Nedved told Forbes.

“Things are moving fast at Juventus. That’s funny because when I decided to end my playing career I wanted to slow down my lifestyle, but it seems that I simply can’t.”

“Football is nothing without fans. I always stop to sign autographs for them, I have to do it. It costs me nothing and I make someone else happy.”

“The truth is that I am delighted with my Juventus role right now. I am always thinking about football, even if my wife doesn’t like it. But what can I do? Football is like a drug to me.”

“Now I spend much more time with my family than when I was playing.”
