Napoli want to sell Gabbiadini, Fiorentina rival Inter for former Juve striker
What lies ahead for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini, a respected talent who has the misfortune to sit behind Gonzalo Higuain in the pecking order?
Whilst the Argentine has gone on to score 36 times, Gabbiadini - who netted an incredible 7 goals in 13 games for Sampdoria last season - has rotted on the bench, looking good when he's been given a chance (20 goals in 59 games in all competitions).
It now appears that Napoli want to sell the 24-year-old, who cost them 13 million in January 2015. Though Inter have long been connected to him, Il Mattino reports that Fiorentina have tried to sneak in over the past few hours, and could pull off a stunning coup.
Gabbiadini is a versatile attacker, capable of playing on the wing (something he did in Bologna) or behind the striker.
