Juventus continue to follow the situation with Matteo Darmian at Manchester United. The 26-year-old has been heavily linked to a move away from Old Trafford in January despite coach Jose Mourinho consistently stating that the Italian international remains firmly in his plans.
 

According to Il Mattino today, Napoli have entered the race to try to grab his signature and look set to go head to head with their bitter Serie A rivals. The player has been starved of first-team action at the “Theatre of Dreams” but recent injuries have seen him come into the starting XI despite the speculation surrounding his future.  

Darmian has been keen to stress how happy he is in England and that he wants to fight for a place at the club. He is aware however, that lack of regular first-team action is harming his chances of breaking back into the Italian national team and may have to look to a move away to get back into coach Ventura’s reckoning.
