Napoli start off well! They beat Dynamo 2-1 in the CL
It was Maurizio Sarri's first ever Champions league game as his team found a way to come back and beat Dynamo Kiev 2-1 in a very important game for Napoli. Benfica were only able to draw Besiktas which means that Napoli are atop their Cl group. Garmash had initially given Dynamo the lead in the 26th minute of play but Napoli did respond in the right way. Milik grabbed a brace in only 10 minutes to completely turn the game around, just before the half-time whistle. He first headed in a great cross from Ghoulam before then getting Mertens' rebound, which made it 2-1 in Napoli's favor. In the second half, Dynamo tried to get back into the game but Reina wasn't tested much. Sydorchuk was then expelled from the game for simulation in the 68th minute which complicated Dynamo's plans. Napoli nearly scored a third, first with Mertens then with Milik but in the end, they held on and won for Maurizio Sarri.
