Napoli are the current leaders of the Serie A standing with three won in three games, but, despite their recent excellent performances, the azzurri keep on working to reinforce their team, and are in particularly seeking that defender that didn’t join in the last days of the Summer transfer window, like Liverpool 28 year old Martin Skrtel; but signing the Slovakia international won’t be absolutely easy for the Italian club: the player is having some difficulties in this first part of the season, as well as in the last one, but the Reds’ manager Brendan Rodgers has told Sky Sports that Skrtel, despite the few chances to play, is happy at "Anfield Road". Meanwhile, his compatriot Marek Hamsik is becoming the real leader of the azzurri, and, interviewed by Radio Kiss Kiss, Brescia president Gino Corioni has revealed that -before selling him to Napoli- Inter, AC Milan, AS Roma, Juventus and Palermo have refused to sign the 26 year old midfielder.

Current runners-up Fiorentina are facing some problems regarding their offensive line: the viola only have 19 year old Ante Rebic as a backup for Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez, and after the serious injury suffered by the Germany international during yesterday’s game against Cagliari, will almost certainly try to sign a new forward in the next transfer window: according to La Nazione, their main targets are AS Roma 31 year old Marco Borriello and Inter Milan 21 year old Ishak Belfodil.
