Napoli, from Spain: Drogba could replace the unfortunate Milik
Reports emerging from Spain suggest that Napoli are planning to substitute the injured Arek Milik with former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The journal Sport claims that the vesuviani are interested in taking the 38-year-old on-loan until the end of the season as a short-term replacement for the Polish striker who is recovering from surgery to his damage knee ligaments.
Drogba’s season with MLS club Montreal Impact is coming to a close and the Italian club are being linked to a shock move to bring the Ivorian to Serie A. In a glittering career, Drogba has represented Marseille, Chelsea, Galatasaray to name just a few clubs and has won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, a Champions League, a Turkish Super-League a Turkish cup and Turkish Supercup. He has been voted African footballer of the year twice and has also won the Golden Foot award, the same one that was awarded to Gianluigi Buffon last night.
