Napoli fans take banners attacking president Aurelio De Laurentiis
Napoli fans hung protest banners around the city attacking the president for his policy in terms of transfers. In particular, they did not expected Gonzalo Higuain to leave the club after that the likes of Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi had already left the club years before the Argentinean ace.
They blame De Laurentiis for adding a release clause to Higuain’s contract as, in their opinion, it has helped Juventus to seal the transfer of the Argentinean.
Three protest banners were hung around the city: one reads: ‘Your project has failed, now our aim is to kick your a*s’, a second one reads: ‘De Laurentiis piece of s***’, the last one reads ‘ADL pimp!’
Definitely not a good awakening for De Laurentiis in the wake of a new season.
