Meanwhile, as anticipated by calciomercato.com and confirmed by Il Mattino, Napoli keep on tracking Tottenham 28 year old Roberto Soldado, who could be the perfect backup for Gonzalo Higuain. But the azzurri’s priority remains reinforcing their team’s defense: their main targets for such position, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, remain Liverpool 29 year old Daniel Agger and Arsenal 28 year old Thomas Vermaelen, while, still according to Il Mattino, Zenit St. Petersburg 27 year old Domenico Criscito has been offered to president Aurelio De Laurentiis, but this latter doesn’t seem to convinced about signing the Italy international.
