Napoli: eyes on four full backs. Inter: keen on Castillo
Napoli have announced through their Twitter profile that their right wingback Giandomenico Mesto –who got injured last Saturday during the game against Catania- has suffered the rupture of his right knee’s anterior cruciate ligament, and will have to undergo surgery; the 31 year old will have to remain out of the pitch for at least six months, and, considering that also 27 year old Juan Camilo Zuniga is actually injured, the azzurri will absolutely have to reinforce their team’s flank during the next transfer window: their main targets for such position are –as highlighted by calciomercato.com- Barcelona 22 year old Martin Montoya –who is actually in talks with his current club to extend his contract, that will expire at the end of the season-, Ajax 23 year old Daley Blind, Sporting CP same-aged Marcos Rojo and PSV Eindhoven 19 year old Jetro Willems. Napoli are in any case working to reinforce other positions, and, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, keep on tracking Lyon 24 year old midfielder Maxime Gonalons.
Another midfielder tracked by the azzurri is Atalanta 21 year old Daniele Baselli, but also Inter Milan are keen on the Italy Under 21 international, and to obtain him are ready to offer to the orobici the entire ownership of 20 year old striker Marko Livaja. Perhaps, regarding the offensive line, Inter’s Technical Director Marco Branca, as reported by El Mercurio, has admitted his club's interest for Universidad Catolica 20 year old Nicolas Castillo.
